I have used those ones that sit atop a Propane Tank. They put out good quick heat!
Mine holds about 10 gal of either kerosene or diesel. I always bought red diesel and the fumes were not an issue but it also didn't run more than 20 min in my 1800' shop with 14' walls when it was 25* outside.
It has a digital thermostat with 5* increments. I'd set it to 45 over night to keep my plumbing from freezing, then come out to work and set it to 65*.

Does Farrah notice the heat?

Wow I did not know Farrah had passed in 2009.
She was always a favorite of mine.

My girls bought that as a gag gift one Father’s Day many years ago. She was a looker and I’d imagine hung in many young boys rooms! LOL!

No one has mentioned my State line record Striper! 33lbs on 9lb test line!

Is shop Heat a Gear Head Topic?

New heat for me. 10k watt. 240v. It puts the heat out and puts it out fast! Fully Programmable Thermostatic. Remote Control.

Now three ways to heat my shop, nat gas, wood and electric.

We have a similar heater in our bunkhouse(24'x36') but I think it's 16K btu(could be less).

Question: When your heater kicks on, is it really loud(startle you kinda loud if not ready for it)? Ours takes some getting used to especially at night when sleeping and it kicks on. Someone mentioned it "might" be due to being mounted on the roof joists and it's vibration more so than just sound from heater.
