Finished adding stuff to the 88 and took her out for a run today. I had zero sleep last night but I was determined to see how she shot. Raining a bit. Windy a bit. Cold....to bits.
Set target up at 50 yds because I was going to zero a 22 rifle too. Had 20 rounds of 3" slugs and I may not be able to raise my right arm again :crying: I'm not sure what got into me to do that but I did. Gun was shooting high with the slugs so I kept shooting. I must have overdid it because I started hearing the music Tubular bells from the Exorcist playing in my head the last few rounds:smash:. I finally came to my senses and shot a few 8 shot 2 3/4 and it felt like a feather brushing my shoulder (no feeling at all). Big spread with a short barrel and no choke but perfect for home defense. 50 yds, I'll tag'em. Inside 25 yds, I'll bag'em. Ha.
Put a scope on my ruger 10/22 and figured out why I've never used it. It's a piece of crap that wont adjust. I hate things like that and tossed it into a strip pit on the way home. I have a thing about doing that. Can't wait to go fish that pit soon. Monster bass.
Figured I'd just stick with the iron sights on it.
Now I'm making a list of the guns I'm going to sell. May go deeper than planned on what I will sell. No matter what, I'll keep the guns I have time to shoot and I can reload. Can't decide if I want to do it at a local gun show or not. I know people are bugging me to sell them because they're afraid background checks will be required soon for local sales as well as tax. Ha. I'll get to it in the next few weeks..
BTW. If you want an idea what my shoulder looks like after 20 rds of slugs, google monkey butt. It's about that red. :tounge2:

Where are the pics??

(Of the 88, not the shoulder :P )
Ha. I've decided a bit back to stop posting pic's and doing vids. You all do so much better than the garbage I produce so it's better to watch and read. I've seen so many cool things this group has created and I've learned a ton. I need to be grateful and quiet. Ha

I used to get "Monkey Butt" all the time in the field when I was stationed in Panama. I got pics still to save you guys the time of googling what Steelfingers shoulder looks like
