Are these poly coated lead bullets ok to shoot in polygonal pistol barrels?
My pistol mfr says to not shoot lead bullets.
Although I haven't tried any PB's yet, I can tell you that the coated lead bullets from Acme and Gallant run great through my Glocks. I haven't had any issues with Xtreme's plated bullets either. Acme and Gallant use the same Hi-Tek coating. PB's use a proprietary coating called Polylube Hybrid Coating. I've only run Hi-Tek bullets (when not loading plated or jacketed), but PB's appear to be just as good, and I'd bet shoot just fine from a polygonal barrel.
