Took this gun to the Range a couple of days ago and yep, it shoots great. It’s really a comforting pistol to wear, and it’s comfortable too in a UBG Canute IWB holster. This has become one of my favorite pistols ever shot/carried. About the same size as a G19, a bit heavier, but it shoots much nicer. I choose it as my “big” ccw pistol and my Walther PPS M2 as my “little” ccw pistol.

Anyone else like the M11A1, or similar SIGs?

Similar. My primary carry for a long time. It's a P229 Legacy model only for sale now to LE or thru the IOP when you can find them. Mine is a little different. I've added the GG P-SAIT trigger, fat guide rod and G-10 grips. And, of course, it's DAK. Smooth as butter. If you prefer DA/SA SRT look no further than the classifieds. Mine is backed up by a DAK P220 Carry SAS .45 20190301_084608-1.jpg that fits the same holsters (made for a P228.)

Before I got my Gen-4 19, I was doing a comparison between getting one of those or the 19.

I have other Sigs. (Just so you can’t say I’m a Sig hater). My first was a used German Police issue P6. And later I added a P226, P220, Sig 556 and 556R.

Anywho.....In my comparison I found both had the same round capacity, but the Sig was about twice the loaded weight of the Sig and twice the price. I still wouldn’t mind having one.

You mean the Sig was about twice the loaded weight of the Glock...right?

Considered an M11a1 but today picked up a P225a1 (single stack vs double stack). Can't wait to take it out, looks like it will fit the perfect space between my p239 and my p229. Really like the G10 grips on it, hopefully I'm just as happy after getting it out to the range.

Not anti-Sig, but also not a huge fan. I’ve shot my buddy’s M11A1 a couple times. Maybe 100 or so rounds and darn if I didn’t end up liking it. I could easily see owning. But for lack of $ and storage and new mags and more holsters and and and.

I love mine. Did a few mods to make it more comfortable to shoot. New GG trigger, P224 slide stop and Sig Aluminum grips. I have been carrying my Glock 19 and 43x more and more due to the weight, but I still strap on the M11-A1 once in awhile. Most accurate weapon I own.
