Why wont you buy from cabelas?

I won't buy firearms from big box stores anymore for multiple reasons but I've was never impressed with Cabelas to begin with.

I agree almost 90% in that I will use Academy at times. My local one in Edmond has a manager that seems to know his stuff. Works in the evenings. Academy has good sales at times so it's worth it. That's my only exception. Cops or private all others

I’m kind of the same way, I don’t go to a big box store for information; I go there to buy something I already know about.

I don't care for big box stores because most of the stuff I buy is usually a few steps above what big box stores carry in quality. Within the run of the mill stuff they DO have, it's usually overpriced. Then there's the whole thing I have with trying to support local stores.
