They were quiet enough to cause AAC to drop the price on the Ti-Rant from $1200 to $850. I like what SilencerCo is doing. Shaking things up for sure.

IIRC, the Ti-Rant and Osprey are the only truly ear safe .45 cans when shot dry. I'm really looking forward to hearing them side by side at the silencer shoot.

The KAC UPS-T is as well I believe Jerry. But, both of these new .45 cans blow even the Knight's can away.

The Knight's USPT was the "end-all, be-all" when it came to .45 cans - but not anymore.

The Osprey and Ti-Rant are half the price of the Knight's, about half the weight, and they are quieter.

I know I shot a friend's G-21 with an AAC Evo .45. As nice as it is, I found it to objectionable without hearing protection when shot dry.

The difference between cans like the older USPT and the newer Ti-Rant and Osprey make me wonder what suppressors will sound like in another decade.

I'm skeptical that they'll get much quieter, but smaller and lighter while maintaining dB reduction levels will likely be the goal into the future.
