A few restrictions - Must be 1.5" OD - my rail is 1.56" ID. If there's a REALLY good reason to change the rail, I could do that, but it would have to be compelling. Obviously - .308/7.62 cal. Quick-detach or otherwise mountable - no direct-thread. I want to use an integrated mounting/muzzle device. I'll likely be huying some similar AR15 mounts so it can share duty. I've looked around, watched videos from SilencerShop, etc. And I feel like I'm no closer than I was. I honestly feel like it doesn't matter much, I could really toss a coin, or buy a moderately-priced, and get essentially not much difference than a high-end one. I mean, I'm talking the difference between $300-500 up to $1000. I don't see myself buying a high-end one as my first suppressor purchase. That vast majority of its use will probably be subsonic Blackout. But I would like one that has some versatility in other calibers and for some supersonic Blackout. Any suggestions? How did you guys make your choice, what factors did you use for your first can, what specs/stats/opinions seemed to stand out to make one a better choice than another? I haven't found any real reviews that say, "This can is ****, DON'T BUY IT."
