Sleeping with your gun

Just woke up from a nap after work and realized I had left my Galco Ankle Glove on with the snubby. I normally take it off and stuff it in a small safe I have, but it wasnt too bad just leaving it on. Anyone sleep with their gun in some fasion?

Generally have something on the headboard. If I don't it always feels like it's going to be the one night where some jackwagon decides to break in for whatever reason. This goes double when I am on the road and stay in a hotel or at a friends place. My carry weapon is generally in it's holster on a nightstand. Last year when I was headed to CA via Phoenix I stopped south of Holbrook and slept in my truck for an hour or two and just kept my carry weapon on me, not to mention I had my AR, 870 clone and two other pistols with me and the dog right there as well in case someone thinks they could just sneak up.

Not a place in the house that a gun is not within immediate reach. Its in my pocket. Never leaves it.
At night, another is on the night stand.
