So my day got screwed yesterday so I went to the range. https://www.okshooters.com/threads/stripped-lower-receiver.292048/ Picked up this ammo a couple days ago from a friend. Only had 200 rounds to work with. Brought 5 diff AR's, 4 set up in 223/5/56 and 1 in 7.62x39 1 POF cassette TRIGGER 1 LMT trigger group with std mil-spec springs. 1 Geissele QMS 1 Geissele S3G 5.56 with 4.5# hammer spring 1 Geissele S3G 7.62x39 w/4.5# hammer spring Tried to run 30 rounds through each 5.56 gun Then used the X39 lower(on diff 5.56 upper) to try another S3G since I thought(erroniously) that would be the ultimate fix for hard primers Little did I know that would not be the answer, but something else would!!!!! Was getting about 50% failure rate with , LMT AND the G s3G and QMS. For some odd reason I only got 30% failure to fire with the POF(which actually gave me the most ftf with 7.62X39 even with extended firing pin) So after trying 30 rounds with each, I only had 50 virgin rounds left. So I took my spare extended firing pin out of my x39 spare parts kit and put it in a Spikes bcg, installed it in the upper with S3G trigger(since I erroniously thought it was gonna be the fix for hard primers). Fired all 30 rounds no problems. Then since POF was so terrible with x39 hard primers, I threw the Spike BCG wit extended firing pin in another upper with POF TRIGGER IN THE LOWER and fired 50 rounds flawlessly. I then put all the failure to fired rounds in mags and fired the all in yet another lower upper combo with the extended FP BCG and fired the rest which was about 83 rounds without failure. Let me sum up, USE THE EXTENDED FIRING PIN THAT THEY RECCOMENDED WHEN THEY SOLD THIS AMMO WITH HARD PRIMERS. MY SUGGESTION. REDXARMS for about $11 shipped I'll post more pictures in a bit
