The snubbie was never intended to be a ballistically efficient firearm. It’s better know as an “armpit gun”. If you get into a close violent encounter, shove it under the armpit of the other person and start pulling the trigger.

With the PD 360, it will penetrate, cauterize the wound and make both parties deaf all at the same time.

Right, so no point in full house .357 is what I'm saying.

I carry a 340 M&P pretty often. The Crimson Trace grips with the rubber piece on the back strap make it shootable but not fun by any means. Here is a video with full house loads. I call it Thumper for a reason.

I'd really like to own one when I can find it or a 340PD for a decent price. I held a 360PD once at H&H and it was crazy light, I think my wallet weighs more.

My Smith and Wesson model M&P 340 (no lock) is loaded with Speer Gold Dot 38 special +p specially designed for short barrels. Decent ballistics and recoil isn't bad if you've got anything at all in your sac....View attachment 202560
That's what I run in my 640-3, .357Magnum.

It's a little heavier and those +P loads aren't too bad at all.

Its the one in my avatar.
