Found these lovely ladies hanging out in the pawn shop today and so I escorted them both home with me. Both six inch stainless in beautiful condition. One is 629 classic and the other is a 10 round 617

I'm a huge fan of matching pairs of rimfire and centerfire pistols,,,
In fact I have 11 matching pairs in my safe.

Are those two revolvers the same frame size though?

If I remember correctly,,,
The 629 is an N frame gun,,,
While the 617 is an L frame gun.

Just curious is all,,,

I had a 629 and a 19 back in the mid 80s, how I wish I had never gotten rid of them.

Pre lock smiths for the win.

Nice find still I hope you enjoy.
