Mine expires in a couple weeks. Guess I should send in my paperwork. I've got 30 days grace to carry right?

LOL, no you absolutely DO NOT. There is zero grace period on an SDA permit. We just had this pounded into our heads in or class. no grace period - period.

just in case you're not kidding around or someone else read this.

When did yours expire,? mine doesnt expire until Jan/2015.
But I dont want to wait if its a 90 day turn around....Oct/2014 is start of 90 days..8)

Mine was up Dec 15 but I sent it in some 87 days or so early just to be safe. Of course I would have been okay anyway since there is a 90-day grace period per OSBI WEBSITE. (See below: taken from OSBI website just now)

"Please Note: Effective November 1, 2014, there will be a 90-day grace period on license renewals".

Licenses may be renewed any time within 90 days prior to the expiration.

Expiration notification will be sent to the mailing address provided.
(If your mailing address changes during your license term, please notify OSBI within 30 days.)

(Old statement on the previous 30-day grace period)

There is a 30-day grace period on license renewals; after 30 days, the license is considered expired
and the applicant may no longer legally carry a concealed or unconcealed handgun.
