Some Bad News for Wind Energy Advocates

you can build a stand alone system that makes all the power you need and then you don't need the utility company any more. but you need a battery to store the excess power to smooth things out. now with the electric cars i understand that thebattery might be more affordable than it used to be

We have an old windmill from the 30’s that still turns although the wood break shaft I think they call it is broken.
Been thinking about a way to use that windmill to run a generator that would power a 12v pump so I could irrigate my food plot for deer and run what wasn’t needed there to the pond to keep it topped off. It’s down about 4’ with this drought.
May have to go solar and battery though.

if your talking about an old windcharger and not just a windmill ? the windchargers were 36 or 38 volt. they can be rebuilt even today but they don't supply many watts.

I fished on the beach with a guy that had a small windmill hooked to a car alternator and a deep cycle battery. He ran 3 - 4 car headlights to light up the beach and water, when we shark fished all night. It always worked great.

The real kicker to this and all other green energy devices are they are almost entirely dependent on oil for the products to build them. Even the synthetic oils used are derived from crude. To be TRULY GREEN would require no man made products at all which would put us all squarely back in the stone age.

You're argument is entirely valid and one I use all the time (I have a passionate hatred for wind-energy). Not even mentioning the propensity for them to leak lubricating oil everywhere, which they all contain an enormous amount of. I would simply ask: what powers the boats and rigs to install and constantly maintain those wind turbines out there in the ocean?

No, not a wind charger. I've see some of those but this is just your standard wind mill. It still turns though in the slightest breeze after almost 100 years.

Your system would require the pump and other things to control what was watered, but I remember my grandpa having a half section of grassland with a windmill that filled a stock tank and the overflow from the stock tank would then flow down to his pond.

He even had an old cup made from a tin can and baling wire (for the handle) hanging on the tower so we could get a drink of fresh water from the pump's discharge pipe.

Look, this was never about 'green'.
It was never about what's good for Gaia (Mother Earth).
It was never about carbon sequestration, or Global Cooling, or Global Warming, or Climate Change.
It was never about a hole in the ozone.

It has always been about making energy as expensive as possible.

This is the way to control the population.
We cannot heat out single family home, so we need to move into the Govt Housing.
We cannot get fuel to drive to work, so we need to take Mass Transit (which, BTW, only goes when and where .Gov tells it to go)
We cannot get inexpensive food or good meat protein; we have to eat gruel and bugs (but the Elite eat Wagu Beef - or whatever it's called).

This entire campaign has always been, and still is, about controlling the population. Us.

Multi pronged spear re the Great Reset. Collapse the economy. Americans are too obtuse to make the connection between corruption in (all three branches of govt) and the collapse. Govt will assure them to simply embrace total govt control, aka socialism, and all will be well.

And our RINOs in govt are going along.

The above, plus bringing in tens of millions of foreigners who will be on welfare. The goal is to have more people on the public dole than who work. Again, they'll vote for socialism. And for our govt, the added benefit will be terror attacks on Americans so that govt can sweep in and save us. Again, more govt control.
