The pineapples are too cool. I planted 1 years ago but a winter done it in. We did get 1 bunch of bananas that the kids took to school since they were half size. We had a bunch of banana trees at one time and the bananas were late in the season , October in Texas. They were very labor intensive since we had no greenhouse. They were in ground in a potting soil and were dug up and trimmed for storage each year.

Yea, the greenhouse will have to be heated. I am going to use wood heat mostly if I find a wood heater

I've got that, but will be using welded seam pipe, which I have a bunch of should you need, but you'll need end caps which I bought 2 of. They can be ordered off e bay or bought local I suppose.

I may have to go with the 55 gal barrel kit.

Seen the 55gal stove before. Built one at my old welding shop job.

We installed another barrel on top that the bottom one was piped into and the top one had several 1-1/2” pipes running through it to act as a heat exchanger. Put a fan behind it to move the air through those pipes and that SOB heated an entire uninsulated 20’ x 40’ shop. (Shop was also about 20’ tall.)
