The pineapples are too cool. I planted 1 years ago but a winter done it in. We did get 1 bunch of bananas that the kids took to school since they were half size. We had a bunch of banana trees at one time and the bananas were late in the season , October in Texas. They were very labor intensive since we had no greenhouse. They were in ground in a potting soil and were dug up and trimmed for storage each year.I have 3 pineapple in one container. It usually takes about 2 years from planting the tops
