Sadly, the Glock trigger is...admittedly bad. But it can be made better. I didn't say "good" I said "better". Still, they will in general outshoot the person behind them anyway.

I love Glock, but learned to stop being excited by their “announcements” long ago.
Something big to Glock, is something meh to any other brand.

Well I guess we'll have to wait and see how big it really is. I'm hoping it is BIG. We need more BIG, more innovation, more choices...

Civilian availability of the Glock 47?

https://www.tactical-life.com/firearms/handguns/first-look-glock-47-pistol/

My understanding of Glock marketing (maybe that's why I fix airplanes for a living), Glock makes their money, when they sell their models on the civilian market -- currently the Glock 47 is not available.

According to these articles, the Glock 47 has a Glock 19 locking block -- the Glock 17 slide is not compatible, but the ability to use the Glock 19 or Glock 19 MOS slide on your, Glock 47 grip frame, was a major point of the Customs and Border Protection government contract.

Guess we will find out at 9AM CST, December 10th

If it's a carbine I'll be shocked. Hell, they can't even get ahead enough with production to Gen 5 any other calibers than 9mm. They need to get on the .45 & 10mm already.

My 17.5 is the first Glock I think I can actually learn to like. It better in every respect than the Gen 3-4s I've had.

Nope the camping scene is obviously a hunter, they are getting into the bolt gun game... in pistol calibers of course.

I would enjoy a bolt action 9mm with a threaded barrel as a suppressor host. Throw a red dot on there and it would be fun. Even better would be a 9mm lever action with a threaded barrel!
