Saw something today about a guy building an air rifle with a 5000 grain round ball that will do about 800 FPS they also showed a launcher for line that will put a 1.5X3 inch aluminimum slug 300 plus yards with about 150 PSI of air.

I am sure one of you out there wants to make a good tater launcher you can find some good plans on there to make some mashed taters.

I wanted to build one of those for a long time, but now there are soda can launchers and golf ball launchers that attach to the AR platform and use blanks to shoot the cans and balls much faster than the air cannons. Blanks are easy to come by and do one heck of a job. My golf ball shooter will launch a ball so far you lose sight of it and it's still climbing. Shot it several times at the high country desert range we stayed nearby his summer in the RV. Never saw a dust signature to see where it fell and it was really dry.
