DOH!!!! 'Nuff said! I haven't seen anything like that in this batch I got from Sage's - yet, anyway. I'll pull them out this evening and look a little closer. All I have bought from them so far are some aluminum 7mm gas checks. Wanted to try some aluminum just for the heck of it.

I want to make clear, those bad checks were NOT from Sages' Outdoors.

The bad checks were from an apparently out-of-business seller called BulletGasChecks.com.

I grilled James Sage about his warranty, because, well, once bitten, twice shy.
I am fairly certain that James at least knew who the other seller was, from comments during our conversation.

I found one ... count 'em, one ... obvious reject in a bag of 250. And, I ain't gonna' count 'em, but I bet there's a few extras thrown in there for good measure.
