Springfield 1911-A1 upgrades

I have a stainless Springfield 1911-A1 that I would like to have an ambi slide lock, and a better (less loose) trigger installed. Can you do this work?

No such thing as an ambi slide Lock.

Learn to
Hit it with your trigger finger or reach underneath with your support side fingers

i spoke with the Dr a couple of months back and he told me he wasn't doing the work any more. so,,,i learned how to install a new barrel on my own LOL and it locks up and functions!

Honestly though,not having adequate clearance between the barrel lugs and slide during unlock is the cause for many a custom fit barrels demise at about 4k + rounds. St. Greyson the patron saint of OKC 1911smithing would tell you that himself.
