I saw these roll out not too long ago. Wonder if the custom shop is doing these? Of course they'd probably be putting that on a billboard if they were. Good looking 1911 either way.

From the little I've been able to find, I've seen that they are supposedly a limited run from the custom shop. Hand-fitted with no MIM parts. My only guess is this is Springfield's response to the DW.

Fondle one and it should be telling, the Pros are hard fit and that's their protocol.

Little doubt that it's a fine pistol, I just don't care for a rail on a 1911.

For me, a rail on a 1911 is a beautiful thing, but only in terms of function. I like my bedside 1911. :D
