just always felt like 1911’s should be .45acp

I have wanted to add a 9mm 1911 to my herd but haven’t had a chance to try one out yet. Might try to get my foot in the door with a rock island.
Think 10mm is my favorite 1911 round right now.

38 super was made in like the 1920’s for 1911’s. Don’t have one of those yet.

Are we talking a hi power copy or high power ammo? If its the browning hi power copy they mare one years ago called a h9. I had a friend that had one that the safety had fallen out so i ordered a replacement from eaa. Which is where Springfield sent for the parts
