Want To Buy Springfield model 87A

Looking for a nice model 87a. With the plastic stock. This was my first gun my grandfather gave me (still have it and shoots great!) and I’m looking for one for my son. I have given these to both my older boys on their 12 bday and this will be the last one I need for my youngest son. Looking for a plastic stock only version. These were made by Springfield and Savage I believe.

I believe I saw a savage model 87 with a plastic stock at cb guns and gear in Owasso. I don't remember what shape or price though.

Don't forget Stevens. Savage is the Model 6A, Stevens and Springfield are the 87A. All different brand names of the Savage company. And the plastic you are looking for is called Tenite (often misspelled Tennite). Also there was an 87T series just for the Tenite stocks. Hope this helps in the search.
