It's probably too early for any hands-on opinions, but anyone have anything good or bad to offer about the the AR from Springfield Armory?

I wonder how many they have sold? I'm sure die hard Springfield guys bought them, but after the election I know I've put on the brakes on buying, at least a little.....Too make up for over buying before the election, lol.
I'm also interested to see how people like them. Good post, OP.

Demand for AR parts has softened, but overall demand for firearms is steady. We're trying to figure out what consumers want. We are some flexible fat frackers.

I know I've got enough parts to build several AR's. My interest seems to be drifting toward other calibers that can be used on the AR15 platform, just for grins. It's the cost of the ammo that keeps this non-reloader from diving right in.
