I gave the Saint a good hard look before I bought a Colt a week or two ago. One thing that scared me a little was a comment in one of the threads here at OSA (by TonyKane if memory serves) that mentioned cheap threading encountered when replacing a pistol grip. I wondered if any other corners had been cut.
I decided I'd rather have 1/7 chrome lined barrel so I went another direction. That being said, the Saint has a mid length gas system (a plus), and the trigger is supposed to be pretty good from the factory.
$599 seems like a heck of a deal. When I was pricing them, it seems like the best price I ever saw was $650.

Crap. I paid more than that for mine but it had everything on it. Is that price stripped down?
