Don't get me wrong guys... I know there are people out there who have problems similar to yours - difficult or next to impossible to do much on a reliable basis. We're not complaining about you guys, about people who CANNOT be gainfully employed. But you know we see people every day who have milked the system - maybe me more than others, yes, it seems inundated with it. I've seen a girl in her early 20s on disability with no medical problems, no medications and no doctor. When I asked her why she was on disability, she said it was because she couldn't read. No ****! Because she couldn't read. Another guy I've seen several times, on disability for social anxiety, young, strapping, healthy fellow, covered in tatts, admits to social drug and alcohol use, again, no medical problems besides his anxiety and no meds. But he quickly points out to me that he can attend concerts and things like that because the attention isn't on HIM, being in a crowd at a concert doesn't bother his anxiety, but being at work at a job does because he is always worried people are talking about him behind his back. He offered this information up as soon as he said he had social anxiety as the cause for his disability. Almost like he'd been through that line of questioning many times before and had his "ready" answer down pat. Well, buddy, I'm glad we get to pay for your cigarettes, booze and drugs for the rest of your life. Enjoy! :drink: :drunk: So, like Daniel said - it won't last forever, and in a way, sometimes I look forward to it, sadly. :(
