Yes that could be done. You would definitely lose value, it would not be original.

I’m pretty sure it’s already not original, bead blasting would make it closer to original. I’ve never seen a factory sig look like that.

Sounds like it might be a good idear to turn down the offer then. My spidy sense is telling me if that isn't factory, what else isn't?
