At $200 a pop, I'd buy two and put one away as a "parts queen."
A Star BM will fit just fine in a Sig 229 holster.
Is it not loose in that?
Mine fit almost perfect into a commander 1911 IWB. My OWB 1911 holster is a little too loose for my liking.

I recently bought a "hand select" Star BM from J&G Sales. The gun shows no holster wear at all; It may have been refinished. The bore is shiny. I have owned a number of pistols in different calibers, including Glocks, Walthers, Rugers and Kimbers. I do believe that this Star is my very favorite. I certainly shoot more accurately with it than any pistol I have shot. I particularly enjoy getting something of high quality at a bargain price and this purchase definitely fits the bill.

They are fun to shoot. Small enough to grab hold of, yet the all-steel construction gives enough weight that it doesn't want to get away from you under recoil.
