I thought you were supposed to cut trees and stack logs and when you start shooting the logs
and the bullets fall in front of the logs then they are full of lead and you burn the pile and get the lead from the bottom of the ashes a week later.
Then start all over.

Or dirt .
Looks like you have it slicked down nice.
That should keep some ticks off of you.

I have a surplus of AR550 Targets, just sold a place that had a small range on it. Have more than I need.

Nice looking start! Get dirt back grounds, lots of dirt!

I have a small berm for pistol shooting in the back of the place. The dirt came from cleaning out the ditches in our driveway after rains filled them up. Not near as nice as yours but like you said, it takes a lot of dirt to make any berm at all.
