I shoot Pistol Caliber Carbine (PCC) in 9mm. PCC is allowed in 9mm, .40 and .45.

My granddaughter shoots an AR15 with a .22 conversion.

Yes, that's the basics of what you need. And plenty of ammo.
How far back are the targets? Looks like they are about 8-15 yards depending what stage and setup. Ive been to a match as a spectator but it was back in college. Since then it has just been youtube videos. Would like to get into it. Steel challenge looks like one of the more low cost competitions to get into.

If I were to enter with just a Stock glock with no optic that would be Production closed correct?

Yes production. For Production Division magazines hold max 10 rounds. You could also shoot Limited and then load mags to capacity if they hold more than 10.

This is the best first match experience you will have. Very low pressure. Most of the stages are stand and shoot from one position. It's great for starting young shooters in the sport as well. All you guys/girls thinking about going should just do it. You will have fun.
