Of course they would call it an attack.....don't question us silly man lol. I think it's almost criminal that this is just the first time they've ever been audited.

Department of Education is so bloated, administration-heavy and useless that maybe an audit would force lawmakers to do something about the waste and grift. I'm glad Stitt is pushing for it. It will be interesting to see what comes of it. I don't think much will.

The Oklahoma Dept of Educations budget in 2020 was $3.07 billion or 37.4% of the states budget.

Yet they always scream for more. Sorry, audit the **** out of them.

Reading the comments under the story; I'd say a lot of them are union teachers. I wonder if the OEA is sending out preformatted emails and such to their members on how to make this audit and Stitt look bad.

Edit: Just looked at the OEA website; don't see anything there, yet.

I'm all for auditing state and federal agencies. They've ALL been corrupted to one degree or another, we cannot trust any of them to operate in the best interests of the governed.
