Used to be an "M" for motorcycle endorsement. Now it's an "L" for motorcycle.

I’m going to have to check my license. I did not even know that changed

Interesting.
We don't have one here in the country and don't see the need for one to go to town, but we love riding them in the mountains.

Nope just renewed last year and there not available in my area and have to make a appointment 3 months in advance before going and if they cant see you for some reason have to make another appointment 3 months from that date. I could care less whether i have the new one or not not going to be going anyplace that i would need it.

renewed march of 2020 still has M.

I got "the real ID" in February 2021 it has an "L" for motorcycle.

I'd really like to have some clarification on this. I can't find anything about an "L" being the endorsement for Motorcycles on the state's webiste.

I found an "L" restriction, but no "L" endorsement.

J/K. To tell you the truth the lady at the tag agency didn't know either. Just that it had changed. I came home and tried to find out but didn't have any luck. It's the government who knows.

I asked the same question. They told me it was part of the “standardization” of the “Real ID” system.
