Advertisers exaggerate their products all the time; buying a certain brand of shampoo will bring you eternal happiness if you believe them.
A gun manufacturer advertising their version of a rifle as being more badass than other brands fall in this category IMHO.

At the same time, I don't think it would hurt gun manufacturers to tone down the macho stuff, and throw in some adds about using the AR for hunting and competition.

I certainly don't think this lawsuit should even be in court.

So could someone then sue McDonald's and other fast food places for making them Fat?
If a gun manufacturer is liable for the products they make and advertising they use then so is Any Other company that advertises anything they make and sell.
