I am in the market for a supressor for my 10/22. I live out of the city limits and the neighbors are pissin and moaning about my plinking.

What I would like to do is shoot one before I buy. I've never heard or seen one in person and want to know what I'm getting before I sink a ton of money into one.

    Now the question.

Is there a place to test fire a can in the OKC area?

If you really live outside of the city limits, piss on them.

I have a Marine bud who lives in TN who had a similar problem. He went and bought a cannon.

He got his from D.W. Carpenter. Takes about 4 weeks to get to you.

Try posting in the NFA section.

A couple of our sponsors are C3. They should be willing to give you a demo if you ask nicely.

a suppressor and sub ammo will make your 10-22 more quiet than a BB/pellet gun. but sub ammo alone does wonders too.

    So here you go:

This is a YHM Wraith I bought at MAS Gunworks (a board sponsor), it's really quiet when using subsonic 22LR.

You can shoot my 10/22-Spectre combo if you would like.

Hmmm. A good excuse to get a suppressor, but an even better excuse to get a bigger louder gun. I'd have to tell them if they didn't like the sound of gun fire to move their hippie tree hugging butts back to the city.
