Stabil in anything your going to store, red bottle, and non ethanol fuel. i never winterize any of my equipment, and it all fires right up.

Turn the fuel off an let it run until it dies. Fuel sitting in the carb can degrade the seals. And if you store it with fuel in the tank fill it all the way up. Less room to condensate with temp changes.I actually switched my generac over to propane a couple years ago because of these reasons .
Most of those small engines recommend oil change every 25 hours of usage. Push mowers, riders etc. So when used in power outage that means change oil daily.
The predator line of engines seem to be pretty solid performers. I follow several YouTube channels that use the 17hp horizontal shaft engines to power mini air boats successfully on common Jon Boats.
Do not use E-10 in small engines. The ethanol will etch and pit the carburetor to the point of destroying it. Sta-Bil is good for 100% gas. But nothing will stop the ethanol from evaporating out of E-10 fuel - regardless of what the manufacturers say.

I have the predator 3500 and the 2000, and I usually try to start them every 3 to 4 months and let them run for about 20 or 30 minutes. That way when I go to start them up and really need them they are ready to go. Stay bill in the gas tank is a very good option, sea foam is also good to run through them on occasion.
According to this website which sounds reputable Predator Generators Oil Type & Capacity Guide [2023 UPDATE] the first oil change should be between 20-30 hours then every 100 hours of runtime or 200 hours with full synthetic.
