In the spirit of one person's junk being another person's treasure, wonder if it might be worthwhile to have a very informal "swap shop" or "trading post" or whatever forum? Unlike present classifieds could list the stuff we no longer need but may have value to someone else, and maybe some of the things we'd like to find, then put it out there for offers, no price/value/etc. needed. I know I've got a bunch of "stuff" I'd like to move, but it's just too small/insignificant/numerous to deal with posting in the classifieds.

There is the Free Stuff category. Is that what you are thinking of?

Not at all - that's for giving stuff away. More like "I have two extra Anderson AM-15 Lowers, on set of KAC rails, a #35 rear sight mount for a Remington 700, two partridges and one pear tree. Would like to swap for various AR parts, 1911 magazines, 5/8" crush washers, etc. I'll ship if you will." As long as posters remain able to edit their original post they could each keep them updated and current, trimming away what's gone and adding on more stuff.

(edit) oddly enough I just got a PM asking about the two lowers (/edit)

The pear tree seems to be at risk of cloud-based suckage late this evening; the turtle doves appear to ready to relocate as well.

    It's like a cactus...no watering required.
