I congratulate you on getting people interested in shooting and guns. There are some people that never had a person in their life that would introduce them to the fun it can be. I also applaud the young woman for wanting to take control of her own self-preservation. The world can be a scary and mean place, especially for women. One more thing, I’m glad to see you taking smaller calibers for her to try. It makes me cringe when I see people handing someone that doesn’t know what they are doing a 12 gauge or .308. Short story, my brothers in law wanted to teach one of their sons how to shot. He was 7 at this time, tall for his age, but thin as a rail. So they started him with a 20 gauge pump shotgun. Long story short he now will not try to shot anything and is scared to be around them. I tried to get him to shot my Ruger 10/22 with shorts and he wouldn’t, this is when I found out what had happened. Good Luck and have fun.
