No U.S. Steel is not opening nine new plants Mr. President but G.M. is closing five.

Well, US Steel may not, but others are ramping up and opening blast furnaces that have been closed for years.

A major American steel company will be investing at least $750 million to upgrade one of its manufacturing plants as a result of President Donald Trump’s tariffs on imported steel and other efforts to revitalize American manufacturing.

GM is a union ran behemoth that never realized early pensions and unfunded pension programs would eventually overrun profits.
The .gov bailed them out once by actually taking them over with ostupid firing the CEO to protect the unions that supported him instead of letting them take Chapter 13 and restructuring.
Obama ain't there anymore.
GM suffers the consequences. Their vehicles are junk anyway.
Yuppies of old have taken over with electric vehicles powered by coal plants at their future. I love it.
