Not the G2C but I put a TX 22 on layaway at Atwoods and this next week, I need to put it back in hand and check the bore as RFC reports machining chatter and the occasional non concentric.. I bought a G2 some 5-6 years ago and after 1 range session cleaned it and sold it..
I'll gamble on a 16rd .22 though..

I bought one last month at Atwoods for $174.99 otd after $25 rebate. So far I've put 200 rounds through it of various brand of ammo and no problems at all. Palmetto ran a sale on the factory 12 round mags for $9.99 and free shipping on five, so I got five extra mags.

BTW, Mec-Gar Sig P226 mags work in it. You can get 15, 18 or 20 round mags. A guy on ebay sells a sleeve to fill in the gap on the longer mags.

You can also buy a keep tinkering trigger to improve the trigger pull and he sells several different types.

I think it's a great gun for the money.
There are a couple of sites you should bookmark. One is Lakeline LLC. They manufacture and sell some nice accessories and replacement/improved parts for the G2c, including a stainless steel recoil spring assembly, stainless steel striker channel, and a mounting plate for a micro RMR (Link takes you to the G2c page): https://lakelinellc.com/product-cat...accessories/taurus-g2c-pt111-g2-and-pt140-g2/
The other one is Galloway Precision. Their best product is a flat-faced upgrade trigger that includes the trigger safety (the Keep Tinkering one doesn't): https://gallowayprecision.com/taurus/millennium-g2-pt111-g2-and-pt140-g2/

Way ahead of ya as I already ordered some parts from them and have them installed. Well made parts and they do improve the G2C, not that it isn't OK in stock form. Keep Tinkering also sell a variety of triggers for the G2C.

Yes, Keep Tinkering has triggers, especially if you want to get rid of the trigger safety device. Since they had been already mentioned by cktad I didn't mention them. Perhaps I should have said "a couple of other sites."
