Teachers in the second largest US school district about to strike

These teacher strikes are sickening! They would rather sit at home and do nothing than actually educate people. Im sick of all these Union Strikes that We The People end up paying for.

I hate to say it, but this thread originated almost 5 years ago. While they might still be considering a strike, the one that the thread was started for is probably long past.

You know what? I'll bet our teachers thought we were bad too but we made it somehow. Somehow they'll make it but might be a bit worthless. Remionds mne of the newcomers int he military. When we went in I'll bet the WWII and Korean vets thought we we were waster material but we made it and when our turn came, we thought the newcomers into the miltiuary were not worth what it cwould cost to shoot them-but they apparently made it also. Life goes on, it's a cycle.
