Testing some ELD Match .308 in the Ruger American Predator

Went out to test some Hornady ELD Match 168 grain in the Ruger American Predator. Even shooting at 7:30 in the morning, it's still hot! lol. But anyway, got some decent results with the Accurate 2495 and so so results with the Varget.

I had so so with Varget and settled on IMR4064 using that bullet. I was pulling sub 1/2 MOA with my Bergara. I loaded out to mag length and settled on .060" jump with 43.5 grains of it. Had an SD of 13. I really like that bullet.

Good to know. I'd really like to try something in the upper speed range like cfe223 or power pro, but the way things are ya kinda gotta take what u can get lol.

Exactly. I'm glad I had better results with 4064 too. I had 2 pounds of Varget and an 8 pound jug 4064 on hand!
