My wife and I went Striper fishing on lake Texoma for our honey moon. We started going again in 2013 and have gone every spring since. This year we went in July and made it a family trip with the in laws and my daughter (mil doesn't fish). We have used the same guide for the last five years and he said we should come in Dec. for the big ones, so we booked the 8th due to my work schedule. We were sceptical of the forecast accuracy and said let's go anyway. Well, the weather wasn't as bad as they said, but it rained the whole morning and temps were high 30s. Fishing was a little tough, but we caught our limit and had to throw a few big fish back due to slot restrictions. We stayed in a real nice cabin about fifteen minutes from the marina. I highly recommend both the cabin and guide if anyone is looking for a good trip on Texoma.

That looks awesome Tumbleweed. I have always wanted to do a Striper guided fishing trip on Texoma. I have a place on Grand lake but not many stripers up there. Congrats on the catch!!
