Not necessarily cheaper. But the majority of folks loaded up on them over the past few years so demand has not caught up to supply YET. The first time (post 2019) gun owners haven't realized to get them yet. And Atwood's runs this promo on MFT mags a few times a year. Again good to keep on hand for trade fodder.
