I've been working on this off and on for over a year now. It's a 1997 yz125 chassis modified with a built xr200 engine in it. The engine has an 8mm stroker crank, 200x cylinder bored to 66.5mm, crf230 head with modified cam for the xr ignition, stepped header with ids2 muffler.

I've got some welding to finish, and still need to rebuild suspension and brakes. But it's getting close.

If it runs off nitro-methane then I'll really be impressed! Lol. In all seriousness, it looks like a fun little project. Keep us updated on progress! :thumbup3:

Looks like a lot of fun. I miss riding dirt bikes. I had a 1982 XR200R. I then had a Husky 430WR, a Husky 500 Auto, a Husky 420 Auto, and an ATK 406. The ATK was very light and fun to ride.

I had a 68 Yamamhammer 175 Enduro. My friend's YZ 125 put it to shame. In fact, a Hodaka Wombat put it to shame.

The YZ's are mean little beeches!

Lol, the newer 250f and 450f bikes are pretty stout too. I had a ktm 250sxf and flat ground and a long straight it could get up over 80mph. 450s I could barely keep the front down up into 4th.
