Fun times; sitting in Duncan hospital. Running tests on Wif. She may have had a stroke.

Finished cancer treatments, last month. All clear and now .....

Thank you, All, for the prayers. They are greatly appreciated.

Not much news. Admitted for tests and observation. CAT scan, X-rays, 8 vials of blood, some arterial blood tests.

Blood is acidic and a UTI (doesnt have a fever, hasnt had any fever, no indication of infection. She has always known when she had a UTI.

IV antibiotics administered. Dr hasn't been in. Nurses buzzing around, but they don't know what is scheduled.

Typical hospital day, hurry up and wait. So, here we sit.

Wellllllll,

Dr scheduled an upper/lower GI barium scan and more blood tests for yesterday morning.

Barium scan shows some abnormalities ????

Schedules a scope to "see" whatever abnormalities can be seen.

Scope shows esophagus is scarred and narrow. 3 'ulcers' taken for biopsy and repaired. Biopsy is precautionary, Dr doesn't 'think' they cancerous. Takes 4 weeks to get biopsy results.

Blood tests are 100% normal. Dr hasn't a clue to why/what caused the problems or fixed them. The prayers are the 'fix'

Discharged and sent home @ 7pm.
Told her to take Vitamin D.
