Somehow to my benefit, my wife always scheduled our vacations in the Crib at the same time all the europeans got their summer vacations. and traveled there. There were a plethora of bare boobs and more on the beaches. They aren't as "shy" as American women. :hey3:
No they had coed bathrooms in Germany too. Just not a thang over there.

They have coed bathroom all over the world but here, and I for one appreciate that! :D

Meh, our bathrooms at Umass were un-officially coed. Technically they weren't, but no one paid any attention to those rules, even the RA let it slide. Each shower and toilette was in its own stall, so not like you could see anything. Now at the Point, different story lol.

I've been in them and there were no walls. Only yellow footprint decals on the floor with a porcelain hole in the floor that is pretty small. Mama san comes in and squats next to you. Takes a bit of getting use too.

Tells me they haven't progressed all that far away from squatting in the forest caveman style. (Sorry, I don't have the time to find that "Squatting in the Forest" emoticon.)

Yellow Vest does not look at all like your typical french protest/strike.
The protestors are core middle class/working class people being bled dry by socialism/globalism. Witness the spread to other countries in Europe
I understand a Canadian movement is now starting. If you aren't hearing much of substance about Yellow Vest through conventional media, you should ask why. Silence or inadequate coverage speaks volumes.

I agree, partly. The entire French social safety net/socialism/me...me....me caused this. Want everything and pay nothing. Have the world be pollution free, but not willing to pay for their own countries cost to do so. The increase in fuel cost to decrease the use of fossil fuels was the only option for the Utopian society of rainbows and eclairs. (France produces only 1% of it's oil. It plans to end all oil production by 2040. Should be easy because they produce crap.)
The other option would be to cut back on social programs, and government/business benefits. This will happen anyway because the country is broke under the cost now.
No matter what they do, the fall of the current system will happen. After, the same people protesting will have less and forced to work more. No more Santa.
Let the French tear down the current Government. Just remember that a pale horse and pale rider will follow

Exactly what is happening in France we can only try to guess. Our sources of information are all biased.

Mainstream media is going for the flashy big story - rioting in Paris and vehicles burning. But what is the broader story and the reasons behind the riots? Nothing of substance from the mainstream media as best I can tell.

Pro Yellow Vest sources are using the internet to report that:
Protest are occuring everywhere both rural areas and smaller cities- primarily road blockages

Most protests are peaceful and the police are supportive: yellow vests are very commonly displayed on the dash of their vehicles. And why shouldn't they be? They are suffering economically just like the protestors while Macron raises their taxes to please the EU, combat climate change and pay for immigrants welfare.

Violence and fire setting can be attributed to two things:
Opportunistic radicals/thugs out to stir things up
Peaceful protestors who have been tear-gassed and do not like it.
