I think you know the answer....but no. I made the mistake of watching the CMA a year or two ago and was shocked. I've stopped watching all of the entertainment awards shows. Was in Austin a few months ago and it's Millennial central now. Music in some of the bars were outstanding.
I don't think they much like my kind in Austin.
My wife wanted to watch the Grammys and I wanted to watch Dateline so we compromised and are watching the Grammys
You didn't make it to the good areas, then. To be fair, it's hard to know where they are without being connected locally.
You got to go to the gun show and gun range...
Some great music, if you look for it and ask the Real locals. The other TRENDY eateries are garbage with bad food, bad service and bad attitude.
And take my wife to eat at Pete's, Lowes and her sisters sons house. Oh yeah, I got to go to the gun show and shoot. I'm blessed....Ha!
