This entire story has gone completely off track for both sides. Thousands coming, so we need a wall. Thousands coming, so we need to not separate families. Thousands coming because of oppression in their home countries, so they come waving their national flags.

Just total outrage, but not knowing why they are outraged.

I heard a story the other day and it might be true or it might not but it certainly is a story. Isis terrorists who have been totally defeated in Syria and elsewhere are streaming across the border now that they hear the wall has been defeated. Their chief fear was that when the President prevailed the wall would magically spring from the ground, and they were frightened by the whole prospect. In the past month caches of prayer blankets and the special garlic they use in their humus have been discovered by people whose identities can not yet be disclosed. It may be true or it may be false, and who is to say that it isn't?

Give it about 2 weeks. Trump will use the caravan as part of a reason to declare an emergency at the border again.

As he should. The do nothing congress even among his own party can't seem to do what we elected them to do. If Trump needs to cut to the chase and get the wall started, so be it.

Thing is, they have been talking about the need for a wall for decades because of the crisis at the border, and yes it has been called a crisis by every president going back to Reagan I believe. Not just the Republicans either. Clinton and Obama both called it a crisis. Trump is just the first to call it a wall instead of a barrier or fence and the first to propose using concrete because it is cheaper.

The Guatemalan security director, Mario Duarte is being interviewed tonight and he said there is now a caravan of migrants up to 1000 strong working their way through the columbian jungle into Panama currently consisting of cubans and lots of africans. Some from Venezuela. Leftist socialist organizers are hoping for 30,000 by the time it reaches the US border.
