I thought about making this thread for a while, and now that I have some successful builds I would love to help anyone out and also post up my experiments as they happen.

But beyond that, it is my opinion that every single 2A advocate should be doing this, even if just once. What was once out of reach for almost everyone who was not a competent machinist can now experience and learn gun smithing. For some it will end there, and for others they will go on to customizing frames, or even designing their own platforms (see: ARK).

I know this has been going on for a while now, but, this is the beginning of how we can stay armed. We should all participate.

Here are my in progress ARK DLC parts. This is a PCC using AR9 internals and Glock magazines. I am building this one in 16" because...you know. I plan on designing my own end cap (that kinda ugly black thing on the front) and my own grip.

You can tell they knew that was going to happen, and should not have fired the second shot! You obviously need to be intelligent when choosing your materials as well as print settings.
