That is really cool. I like the military look of it. I take its tube fed because of the cap under the barrel?

Very interesting. It looks like they borrowed use of the 1903A3 lower and stacking swivels bands. :) I would have to assume that's a later gun than the 1940-1941 timeframe noted in the article...I don't think stamped hardware was used on 1903's / 1903A3's until late '41.

As I understand it these didn't use "borrowed" parts but were made to look / feel like the M1 (sorta). Documented info on these is scarce. I wouldn't be surprised if the date was a little off.

I know that this is an old thread. I've been looking for one for years. I had one when I was a young man only mine had an adjustable peep sight (elevation and windage) It was old when I had it and that was back in the early 70's
