That was cool.

I was in our local chinese restaurant one evening and my youngest daughter called me. Asked me what I was doing. I told her I since I hsd to work, I was eating my birthday dinner alone.

A guy at the restaurant overheard me say that, so he walked by my table and said "happy birthday" as he went and paid his tab.

When I went to pay out, the girl said, "that man already paid for your dinner." Proof there are still good folks out there in the world that back the blue.
