I have been thinking about what my next pistol purchase will be. I have owned revolvers and striker/hammer fired pistols, but never a 1911. I don't want to stray from my 9mm/38 Special ammo range so this will be a 9mm 1911. I am not looking to spend Wilson Combat money (although one of the fellows I shoot with has one and it is beautifully made and so nice to shoot) so I am trying for that often-read balance of matching value and quality with affordability. This would probably not be a body carry gun, but one to shoot at the range and use for house or vehicle carry. I would appreciate thoughts you might have for me on personal experience you have had with this unicornish 1911 price/quality search. Thanks!
